Boothbay Harbor Shipyard

Monday, our trip down to Boothbay Harbor Shipyard went well; it was a bit chilly at times. Heckle and Jeckle (Angelique's engines) ran great and didn't miss a beat (squawk!).

We hauled out at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, cleaned up the bottom, and got things ready for our Coast Guard inspection. The inspection went well Wednesday morning.

After lunch we opened the paint cans, and we finished up around 4:30. Then it was back in the water Thursday morning for the steam home! It rolled a bit on the ride back for a couple of hours, but Angelique seemed to like it.

Now Angelique is back in her berth, getting a well-deserved wash down late in the day. It's good to be back home.

Next week we will paint the topsides, and do some more rigging. Bill, our chef, arrives today!

Angelique tied up along side Boothbay Harbor Shipyard dock, railway dock with blocking ready in the foreground.

Hauled out and power washing the bottom.

Rolling the bottom paint on.

All painted up.

Home sweet home, back in our berth in Camden Harbor.
